British 10k run – congratulations to our runners
On Sunday 10 July a group of runners from Whittington Health took part in the British 10k run, which takes in some of London's iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, in aid of the Whittington's care of older people appeal.Over £3,000 has already been collected in sponsorship with more on the way (it's not too late to sponsor a runner: www.justgiving.com/whittington) and congratulations to Karim Keshwani, one of our trainee doctors who was first in our team to cross the finish line in 52 minutes. Zoe Broadhead is our top fundraiser having brought in £655 so far in sponsorship.
If you are interested in running and raising money for the Whittington appeal, why not sign up for our 5k run in September - more info available from www.whittington.nhs.uk/runningevents.
