COPD Event
The Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) awarness stall was set up outside the N19 restaurant area on Wednesday 16 November. The stalls explained what causes the disease, the effects it can have on the human body and the way in which it can be combatted.
Information leaflets, posters and clinicians were on hand to answer questions and pratical tools such as inhalers were also available for staff and visitors to try out.
The event coincides with the Whittington Health COPD Discharge Bundle, which has recently been introduced to help patients tackle the causes of COPD, including follow-up arrangements after leaving the hospital
