Dental Services

We provide the following dental services:

Dental care is provided from community sites across Camden, Islington, Haringey and Enfield. We aim to provide a high quality dental care service for patients with the goal of reducing health inequalities and improving the oral health of the local population.

Adult Special Care

This is dental care for people with disabling conditions who have proven difficulty using general (or “high street”) dental services Examples of special care patients are adults with severe physical disabilities, learning disabled people, severely phobic patients, those with mental health problems, and people with medical conditions requiring specialist care. We can also provide treatment under sedation and carry out treatment at home for housebound people.

Paediatric Dentistry

We specialise in the dental treatment of children who have proven difficult to treat in a dental practice setting. We receive referrals for young children who may be very anxious or uncooperative, children with physical or /learning disabilities, or medical conditions that require special provision. Emergency Dental Service

We provide emergency dental treatment at our walk-in service at Kentish Town Health Centre between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (Wednesday 8am to 6pm) : contact the Kentish Town Urgent Dental Service on 020 3317 2014.

Oral Surgery Service

We provide a community-based oral surgery service in Camden and Islington for patients who have been referred by their own dentist for the removal of impacted teeth, roots and wisdom teeth.

Prison Dentistry

We provide dental services to HMP Pentonville Prison on two days a week.
