International day of Midwives

Whittington Health staff based on the Birthing Centre recognised International Day of Midwife with food and drinks on Friday 4 May.

 

The day is officially recognised on 5 May 2012 and is generally to thank midwives for all their work throughout the year and allow midwives to share and discuess ideas.

 

Sister Sharma said the lunch event was a great success with food being catered for by the staff themselves culminating in a delicious range of international dishes.
