Whittington Health's annual public meeting - 20 September 2012
Whittington Health’s 2012 annual public meeting will take place on Thursday 20 September at 6pm in the undergraduate lecture theatre, level one, the Whittington Hospital, Magdala, Avenue, London N19 5NF.
The meeting is open to all members of the public, who will hear the chair of Whittington Health, Joe Liddane and director of finance, Richard Martin give a presentation on the organisation’s finances and discuss their vision for the future. There will be time at the end for comments and questions from the audience.
Joe Liddane, chair of Whittington Health, said: “There are many interesting changes afoot for Whittington Health. We are now an integrated care organisation, which has seen much closer working between the Whittington Hospital and our community services. In the medium term we are aiming for foundation trust status, which will devolve Whittington Health’s decision-making from central government to the local community in an effort to be more responsive to its needs. I encourage members of the community to come along on the 20 September to hear about these changes, give feedback and get their voice heard.”
