Mayor gives money to 'Building for Babies'
Former Mayor of Haringey, Councillor Gina Adamou, presented a cheque for £17,700 to Building for Babies. The cheque was received by chairman Narendra Makanji at the celebrity cricket event which saw David English’s Bunbury XI take on Gareth Davies’ North Middlesex CC XI on Sunday 16 September.Councillor Adamou raised the money during her year as Mayor, impressed by the cause and having had her own personal affiliation with Whittington’s NICU several years ago.
