The Dermatology department at The Whittington Hospital has been growing for the last seven years and since her appointment three years ago Dr Natasha Kapur, Consultant Dermatologist has set up a weekly doctor-led PDT service.more
Whittington ranks highly in user experience
The Whittington has been rated in the top 30 performing NHS trusts for user experience, out of 81 trusts in the country. The Department of Health’s Quarter 1 report which provides a summary of the NHS financial position and performance against national priorities for the quarter April – June 2009 was published earlier this week.more

Whittington reached Infection Control Milestone
The Whittington has passed another infection control milestone. On Friday 31 July 2009 there had been no MRSA bacteraemia infection at the hospital for 100 days.more
New Chief Executive appointed
Rob Larkman will take up his post as chief executive of the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust on 14 September, 2009.
Mr Larkman is the chief executive of Camden Primary Care Trust and prior to this was chief executive of Camden and Islington Community Health Services NHS Trust. more

Thursday 10 September saw the Whittington Hospital launch its Carbon Reduction Strategy. The sun shone as the Whittington embraced its commitment to carbon reduction by hosting a day of educational activities and displaying the latest in energy saving technologies. more
