The Whittington nominated for public award
The Whittington hospital has been shortlisted for the ‘most improved hospital’ award at the Healthcare Excellence and Leadership award 2010. The event takes place on Monday 25 October at the Royal College of Surgeons and The Whittington is in a shortlist of three for the award.The HEAL Awards are the only awards completely independent of the NHS and Department of Health and these awards honour dedicated professionals who lead the way in advancing health conditions in the United Kingdom during the last year. The awards were initiated to stimulate the growth of the next and rising generation of leaders working together to improve health and healthcare in the UK. The Whittington is delighted to have been short-listed for this public award.
