Claire Rayner
Famous health campaigner and broadcaster Claire Rayner who died on 12 October trained at the Royal Northern Hospital, now part of The Whittington Hospital between 1950 and 1954. She then worked on the paediatric ward at The Whittington.

She also visited the hospital some years ago and gave several of her children's books to the school including The Body Book and The Don't Spoil Your Body Book. She is pictured here on the neonatal ward during that visit.
