Royal Pharmaceutical chief executive Helen Gordon visits The Whittington
Royal Pharmaceutical Society chief executive Helen Gordon, formerly CEO of a hospital herself, visited The Whittington on Friday 12 November – where she met Chief Executive Rob Larkman and senior pharmacists and listened to their concerns.
The pharmacy department at The Whittington has a strong focus on patient care and all activities are focused towards improving patient outcomes. During her visit Helen learned much about the vision and strategy of the hospital, which encompasses all allied healthcare professions who routinely handle medicines and the consequences of using medicines. “I was very impressed with the standard of care and dedication of the staff,” said Helen. “It was an inspiring and fascinating day.”
