Whittington's Walk
Joe Liddane chairman of Whittington Health welcomed the Lord Mayor of the City of London and 32 mayors of London to breakfast at the Whittington Hospital on Sunday 3 April at the start of one of London's most colourful traditions – the walk from Highgate Hill to the City following the steps of Dick WhittingtonLord Mayor Alderman Mike Bear (pictured with his cat) congratulated the chairman on the forming of Whittington Health We are delighted that you have kept the name of Whittington in memory of my Mayoral ancestor, Dick Whittington, who held my office and wore my chain in 1397, 1406 and 1419"
