Full story

Whittington Health is holding a special Community Recruitment Open Day on Tuesday 1 May.

We want to add more dedicated professionals to our wonderful Community staff team and are looking for APs, HCAs, Band 5 Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians and RMNs to work across Islington and Haringey.

Those who apply online will be interviewed on the Open Day and, if suitable, will be made a conditional offer. This approach speeds up the recruitment process and it’s popular with candidates and team leaders.

The jobs can be found here. If anyone misses the online application deadlines, they can still come along on Tuesday 1 May and have a chat.

Date: Tuesday 1 May
Venue: Crouch End Health Centre, 45 Middle Lane, London N8 8PH
Time: from 9:00am

We’ve been speaking to staff already in the roles advertised to find out why they would recommend working for Whittington Health and it’s clear there’s a huge amount of love for the Whit out there!

“Whittington Health is a unique, friendly place to work. There are a lot of opportunities to progress in a supportive environment.”
Ganeshamoorthy Vengadasalam, Senior Pharmacy Technician

“I’ve had so much encouragement and motivation to get ahead and my managers have given me many opportunities for training.”

“I love working at Simmons House as the whole multi-disciplinary team works together for the best possible outcomes for the young people here. Being part of that approach is rewarding. We all really look after each other and get great clinical support and supervision."
Helen Taylor, Clinical Charge Nurse, Simmons House

“We love Whittington Health because of the respect we have for each other as colleagues. The team is supportive and caring, both for each other and for the patients. Everyone’s committed to their role and to the team and there is always room to progress and develop.”
Nadine Williams and Nichol Nicholas, Community Nursing Team
