Antenatal ward (Murray)

The Murray ward cares for women who have high risk pregnancies or develop problems during their pregnancy. Women can be admitted for many reasons including monitoring and induction of labour. The ward also supports postnatal women whose babies are being cared for in our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

The ward is currently being refurbished. In the meantime, we are temporarily located on the Betty Mansell ward (see below for location details). Currently, the ward has 14 beds, and both outpatient and inpatient inductions are carried out on the ward.

Our newly revamped ward will consist of 15 beds with five side rooms. It will have new shower and washing facilities and offer greater privacy for women and their families.
