Fundraising concert

Mezzo soprano Helen Fetto gave a concert for the Whittington Hospital's Building for Babies appeal on Monday 19 June at Lauderdale House on Highgate Hill.  Over 100 people attended the event which raised over £1,000.

Helen graduated last week from Exeter University.  In the three years she has been at Exeter she has majored in performance studying under Julie De'Arth Lancaster.  Singing since the age of eight, she has high hope to pursue a career in music.  She was accompanied by Belinda Jones on the piano, a postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music.

Helen sang songs by Handel Vivaldi and Monteverdi amongst others

Chairman Narendra Makanji thanked Helen Fetto for her generosity in performing for the Whittington and urged those present to donate generously to the Building for Babies appeal.
