Haringey Community Pain Service

The Haringey Community Pain Service provides multidisciplinary care for adults living with persistent pain in the borough of Haringey. The service is delivered by a team of dedicated clinicians who have specialist skills in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal persistent pain conditions, including medical pain consultants, advanced physiotherapy practitioners, clinical psychologists, pain management physiotherapists, pharmacists and an administrative team.
The service is committed to providing supportive and person-centred care, with the aim of helping patients to improve their understanding of their persistent pain condition, and to learn strategies to manage and improve their quality of life.
Who the service is for
Patients who have ongoing pain that affects their daily life. Patients will have been fully investigated, diagnosed, and have completed surgery if appropriate.
What the service provides
- Multidisciplinary pain specialist assessment and onward referrals for medical investigations where appropriate.
- Pain Management Physiotherapy.
- Pain Management Psychology.
- Pain pharmacy reviews.
- Acupuncture.
- Pain injections or interventions via our partners at North Middlesex University Hospital.
- Pain group interventions including:
- 8-week Physiotherapy led Pain Management Group.
- 8-week Physiotherapy led Pain Exercise Group.
- 12-week Pain Management Programme (facilitated by a pain specialist clinical psychologist and physiotherapist).

Ask your GP to make a referral to the Musculoskeletal Service Single Point of Access.
