Hundredth birthday on the wards
Miss Beatrice Meadows celebrated her 100th birthday on Tuesday 13 March on Meyrick Ward at the Whittington Hospital.
Many of her friends from Holy Trinity Church Stroud Green, including the priest in charge Father Patrick Henderson, joined hospital staff in cake and champagne to celebrate this great achievement.
Miss Meadows also received her telegram from Her Majesty the Queen.
