London marathon builds for babies

London marathon builds for babiesOn Sunday 22 April nine people will run the London marathon to raise thousands of pounds for the Whittington's Building For Babies appeal. The £3 million fundraising scheme will expand the neonatal intensive care unit, bettering the conditions and offering greater support for both babies and their parents.

Whittington staff Breege Gilbride, Rosaire Gray, Hugo Peebles, Robert Pinate, Narendra Pisal and Antonia Wilson are amongst the nine runners. Colin Gibbs-Jones, Rob Farquharson and Matthew Hammel will also be running for the appeal on the day.

To sponsor the runners go to http://www.justgiving.com or contact the fundraising office on 020 7288 5983 or 3096. You can also send a donation made out to the Whittington Hospital Charitable Fund to Deborah Goodhart at the Jenner Building.
