Falls awareness day - Tuesday 26 June
A stall in aid of falls awareness day will be held at the entrance of the N19 restaurant on the 1st floor of the Whittington Hospital and will be from 11am to 3pm.
It will be a multi disciplinary stall where each profession provides information regarding services that are available for the elderly in the hospital and the community. The physiotherapists will be doing a falls asessment and MOT and providing information about balance and exercises classes, OT's will be providing information regarding identifying falls hazards in the home. Nutritionists will advice on nutrition for the elderly, Pharmacists will provide information regarding medications for the elderly. The Dorothy Warren Day Hospital and Haringey care and repair will be taking part.
