People run around Highgate for 'Building for Babies'

People run around Highgate for 'Building for Babies'On Sunday 30 September 250 people took part in the Highgate fun run to raise money for Building for Babies. Families, teenagers and some of our active staff turned out to run from Ponds Square through Parliament Hill Fields and past Kenwood House before returning to Highgate Village.

BBC Breakfast presenter Dermot Murnaghan took part in the run and staff member Leon Beckett’s dedication saw him do the run as an amalgamation of a baby and the Whittington cat. Others brought colour to the event in an array of fairy wings and tutus.

The event was sponspored by Amscombe and Ringland, Highgate Office. The day was a tremendous success and has raised £7,000, and hopes to become an annual event.
