Highflying Gunners visit the Whittington
Eight members of the Arsenal Football team visited the Whittington on Monday 17 December, to bring festive cheer to the children’s wards.
Goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, defenders Kolo Toure, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy and Emmanuel Eboue as well as midfielders Cesc Fabregas, Tomas Rosicky and striker Robin Van Persie, held an autograph signing session for the children on Ifor Ward. The players took a tour of the children’s ward, speaking to patients and parents before visiting the neonatal unit.
Once again, the Whittington would like to thank Arsenal Football Club for giving the opportunity to the children in our hospital, and for the wonderful gifts they provided.
