Mayor of Islington’s Christmas visit
The Mayor of Islington, Councillor Barbara Smith, arrived at the Whittington on Friday 21 December for the annual Mayoral visit. The Mayor and her consort met with children on the Ifor Ward and with elderly patients on the Jeffrey Kelson Unit, where they spoke to patients and staff. Chief executive, David Sloman, even took the opportunity to show the Mayor the best way to wash your hands as they entered and left the wards!Last updated02 Jan 2008
