Bank holiday Monday on 26 May was spent in style at the Whittington, as Wallace and Gromit promoted Wrong Trousers Day with a £10,000 cheque for the Building for Babies appeal.
The Wallace and Gromit’s Children Foundation raise funds to help better the environments for sick children in hospitals and hospices across the country and will, be launching their next fundraiser by celebrating creativity and music in the wrong trousers on Friday 27 June.
Patients and their families got to enjoy some time with Wallace and Gromit on Ifor ward, who stayed for the morning with delighted children for photographs and cuddles. Jasmin Archibald, manager of the neonatal unit said everyone was delighted with the £10,000 donation from the foundation, which will help relocate and expand the neonatal unit.
