Mamma Mia! for babies!
On Wednesday 9 July the Everyman Cinema in Hampstead held a preview of the fantastic sing-a-long Mamma Mia movie. The night, serving canapés, champagne and with special guests including local actress Michelle Collins, was a great success and good fun for all, and raised over £3000 for the Building for Babies appeal.
Barbara Roche chair of the appeal welcomed over 120 people including Building for Babies patrons the Lord Speaker, Baroness Hayman, editor of the Ham and High Geoff Maring and presenter Dermot Murnaghan from Sky News who have been enormously supportive of the appeal.
We are only £40,000 away from our target of £600,000 to buy new equipment for the neonatal intensive care unit at The Whittington Hospital so that double the number of sick and premature babies can be treated in our unit and families can be sure that their baby is cared for locally.
