Highgate Fun Run 2008
The Building for Babies appeal ended on a high with The Highgate Fun Run, which was a great success despite the dreadful weather. Over 350 people showed up for the Fun Run, 50 of whom were brave enough to wake up in the morning and register on the day.
Fancy costumes, dogs and prams joined the runners on the Fun Run, which has so far raised £7000. Television presenter Dermot Murnaghan and ex Eastender Michelle Collins even did the run and joined the crowd of waiting runners and Barbara Roche, chair of the appeal, who introduced the day and thanked all for their support with the appeal since its start in 2006.
Well done to all who ran through the very wet morning and thank you greatly to all who have supported the Building for Babies appeal reach its target of £600,000.
