Salvation Army play
The Salvation Army played Christmas carols for patients, visitors and staff, framed by a festive backdrop beneath the main hospital Christmas tree. The music was enjoyed on Thursday 17 December with prayers and readings led by head of department of spiritual and pastoral care, Reverend Daphne Preece. Visitors and staff sang Christmas carols alongside the bands playing.
Volunteers from chaplaincy collected over £70 for the care of older people appeal during this occasion and brightened up another cold afternoon.
