Choir in the hospital

the choir in full effectThe ‘Singing in London Highgate’ choir have been singing at the hospital and supporting The Whittington’s fundraising campaigns ever since their inception four years ago.

Under the nimble feet and strong conductorship of Idit Gold, the choir met every Monday at Lauderdale House, 8-10pm to sing a series of classics, including songs from Cabarert to Les Miserables. Performing in the main reception on Wednesday 19 May it was a pleasure to here such greats as ‘Friendship’ and a solo rendition of ‘Oh Danny Boy’, staff and visitors alike delighted in the panache and gusto of the performance.

The choir will hopefully be back to raise more funds and spirits in July. More information is available at www.singinginlondon.com
