The Whittington appoints new Director of Nursing
On Tuesday 1 June Bronagh Scott joined the Whittington as Director of Nursing and Clinical Development. Bronagh comes to us from Belfast, Northern Ireland where she was Director of Nursing at the Northern Health and Social Care Trust where she provided leadership to 4,000 nurses, managed community services for older people and was joint lead with the medical director on HCAI.
Bronagh says she is looking forward to working in London and at the Whittington in particular. "From the moment I came for my interview I realised this is the sort of organisation I wanted to work in. Since then the community services are joining the Whittington which is even more exciting as this is something I have experience of.
"I look forward to meeting everyone over the coming months. I must thank Siobhan Harrington for acting up as Director of Nursing so brilliantly over the last five months" she said.
