British Journal of Midwifery award
The Whittington team of supervisors of midwives was recently shortlisted for a national award for “Excellence in Supervision” by the British Journal of Midwifery - BJM, a great achievement for a local hospital. On Thursday 3 June, 11 members of the team left The Whittington in a white stretch limousine to attend the awards dinner at the five-star Le Meridien Hotel in Picadilly. The team were actually placed third, but the entries that came first and second were not hands-on supervisors in the practical sense. Everyone had a wonderful time, a real night to remember and another opportunity to put The Whittington on the map. Last updated29 Jun 2010
