- Remember, if you need medical treatment, but it is not life-threatening, dial 111 or visit nhs.uk.
- If it is a life-threatening emergency, dial 999.
- Visit Age UK to learn how older people can prepare for hot weather.
- Get tips on keeping your pet cool in the heat via the British Veterinary Association.
- Never leave children or animals in parked cars. Even on cool days, strong sunshine can make car interiors very hot.
- The cool spaces map tool shows Londoners indoor spaces where they can shelter from the sun, cool down, rest and take respite on hot days.
- If you are eligible, make sure you receive the latest COVID-19 vaccine. Whittington Hospital has a Vaccination Centre on site where you may be able to drop in and get your jabs.
