We provide occupational therapy and speech and language therapy advice and support to professionals and education staff in Haringey.
 
An Occupational Therapist can provide advice about taking part in daily activities (occupations). For example, toileting, eating and sleep.
 
A Speech and Language Therapist can give advice about communication skills. For example, talking, listening and playing with others.

If you have a child under the age of 19 years old and question about daily activities, speech or communication, contact our advice line by calling 020 3224 4399 (Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm).
 
Leave a message with our admin staff and a therapist will call you back within 2 weeks.

Training

Attend our Early Years Occupational Therapy Training
Our training is delivered throughout the academic year.
 
Our training covers:
  • Getting ready to participate for children with Social Communication Differences.
  • Sensory strategies to support participation.
  • Supporting participation at mealtimes for children with Social Communication Differences.
  • Supporting participation in toileting for children with Social Communication Differences.
  • Strategies to support school readiness.

LEEP: Language Enhancement and Empowerment Project

LEEP (Language Enhancement and Empowerment Project) is a project that we run in partnership with Haringey (Local Authority.)
 
The LEEP team work with early years settings to improve speech, language and communications development in young children across Haringey.
