Zoe is the matron in charge of the children’s community team. She has been a children’s Nurse since 2003 and spent the majority of her time looking after sick children at home. Zoe’s job is to make sure all the children are looked after properly and to continuously improve the service as things change.
Why do you love your job? “Because seeing children get better at home instead of needing to stay in hospital brings me joy. In the future, I want every child who is ill to have the opportunity of being seen at home by a nurse if they need one. The nurses in the team are excellent and extremely dedicated! I love to hear the feedback from patients and their families because this means we can continue to develop our service and make sure that as many children as possible benefit from having care at home.
