Wood Green Diganostics Centre win at the HSJ Partnership Awards

We are delighted to announce that our Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) has won the award for Best Consultancy Partnership at the HSJ Partnership Awards.

 

The collaboration between Whittington Health NHS Trust and Capital & Regional was recognised as showing outstanding dedication to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS.

 

The CDC is based on the ground floor of The Mall Shopping Centre in Wood Green, North London, which is owned by Capital & Regional. The location was chosen because of the wide variety of public transport links to other parts of Haringey and beyond, meaning patients could have a shorter or easier journey than travelling to a hospital for these tests.

 

The CDC welcomed its first patient in August 2022, just eight months after work started on site. Since then, over 14,000 people have visited for a test.
 
The HSJ Partnership Awards acknowledge and honour the most effective partnerships, innovative projects and collaborations in the UK health system. The prestigious award programme, now in its sixth year, is not just a celebration of success stories but also highlights the benefits working with private and third sectors can bring to patients and NHS organisations.
