Pregnancy and baby loss can be a deeply traumatic time for parents and families, and it can be difficult for those affected to speak about it. Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW) is about raising awareness of baby loss and the support available to parents, families and staff affected by this.
For BLAW 2024 the Bereavement Support Midwifery Team at Whittington Health is hosting and supporting a variety of activities and events.
Each evening we will also light up the pillars in front of the hospital in the BLAW colours of blue and pink.
On Sunday 13 October at 3.45pm there will be a Baby Loss Walk 2024 with SANDS along the The Parkland Walk, starting at the Highgate entrance on Holmesdale Road. All are welcome, including children and babies.
