Unite the Union has announced that members who work at Health Services Laboratories (HSL) and its sister company The Doctors Laboratory (TDL) will take part in industrial action between Wednesday 3 and Saturday 6 September.
HSL and TDL provide pathology services to the Whittington Health and other trusts and NHS services in north London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
Pathology services include blood tests and tests on other tissue and fluid samples.
Detailed plans are being made with HSL and TDL to ensure that everyone can continue to receive the treatment they require during this period.
If you have an operation or an appointment, with us including for a blood test, please attend as normal unless you are contacted by someone from Whittington Health.
Urgent and emergency care will continue to be provided as normal.
