Our response to allegations on social media of antisemitism

We have heard these concerns

Full story

We have recently been alerted to allegations about one of our employees of Antisemitism. We are taking this very seriously. We have heard the concerns that have been raised. Please be in no doubt that we are taking action.

We appreciate that some members of the public have expressed concern about their safety in being treated at the Trust by the employee who is the subject of these allegations. In order to allay these concerns, and ensure that patients feel safe to be treated, we can confirm that the employee concerned is not currently scheduled to be working at the Trust.

Whilst we understand the depth of feeling around such allegations, it would not be appropriate to comment further on a confidential internal management issue.

The care of all of our local community is our number one priority. It is important to us that everyone feels safe when they need our care and support, regardless of their background, religion, perspective, or differing life experience.

That is why we want to make it clear that we condemn Antisemitism, racism, Islamophobia and all other forms of discrimination.

At Whittington Health we are privileged to serve a diverse population across North London. We celebrate the many religions and cultures that come together to make up our city, including both the people who we support and care for, and those who work here.
