Biography

Consultant paediatrician and Clinical lead Haringey community team.

Kim qualified from the University of Manchester in 1984 and trained in paediatrics in London, Northwick Park and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals, and Greater Manchester. Her first consultant post was in Salford, where she led the vision team, a " one stop shop for children with visual impairment" and developed a community outreach clinic for children with disabilities, general paediatrics and concerns regarding child neglect and abuse.

She studied for a Masters in Community Child health University of Nottingham, 2001.

Her interest in child mental health arose from her community experience. She moved with her family to London in 2004, as part of the new team developing community services in Haringey.

The service transferred to Whittington health in 2011.

Kim is the Designated doctor for Children in care and the medical advisor to Haringey regards children being adopted and fostered.

She graduated from the Tavistock and Portman with an MA in Complex Care and Child protection in 2015.
