More information about the Wood Green CDC
Who runs the CDC?
Whittington Health NHS Trust run the Wood Green CDC, with our staff behind the front desks and providing the clinical services. The ophthalmology (eye) clinic is run by colleagues from the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust.
Who can have an appointment at the CDC?
GPs will refer people who need an appointment at the CDC. The CDC is only for adults at the moment. Residents of Haringey, Islington, Enfield, Barnet and Camden are all welcome to use the CDC. If you live further away, you can still choose to use the CDC if it is convenient for you — your GP can use our referral form.
How can I get an appointment ?
Can I walk-in?
How will I get my results?
Your results will be sent back to your GP or hospital doctor who referred you.
Why is it in a shopping centre?
We want to make it easier for people to attend their healthcare appointments. Previously Haringey residents had to travel further for diagnostic tests than other residents in Barnet, Camden, Enfield and Islington . Wood green is in the middle of the borough and the is easy to get to for most people.

We can accommodate patients who can move in and out of a wheelchair independently or with minimal assistance. Should you require assistance or equipment to help you mobilise e.g hoist, it is available at the CDC but we kindly ask that you bring your own sling with you if possible.
