Research Reports

We are required by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) to report on their performance in approving studies in specific areas of health research and recruiting participants into these studies. This is driven by the Government's objective to increase the number of patients that have the opportunity to participate in research.

 

There are two types of report available to download below. Reports are updated quarterly.

 

 

The 'performance in initiation' reports show the length of time for NHS permission to be issued for studies and the time taken to recruit the first participant from within our Trust. 

 

 

The 'performance in delivery' reports show whether the target number of participants have been recruited to studies within required timescales.
