Patient-Relative Calls

We are sorry that at the moment we have had to severely restrict patient visitors to our hospital. We realise that this will be very difficult for patients and their friends and loved-ones alike and we are keen to remove these restrictions as soon as we can.

 

However, in the meantime there are still ways that you can see and speak to your loved-ones, even as a socially distanced group from the comfort of your homes or hospital bed using the free Zoom App.

 

The zoom app allows a number of users to join a virtual chat using their smart phone, laptop or other devices. You can join live using your device's camera and/or just use audio.

 

It is free to download and simple to use. We have prepared some guides which you can download below.

 

We would ask that any patient joining a chat like this using their device is mindful of other patients and keeps any noise to a minimum. If you do not have your own set of headphones, please ask a member of the ward team who should be able to let you borrow a pair.
