IANDS - Advice For Parents - Communication - Social Interaction - IntroducitonSocial  Communication happens in the context of interaction with others.  Positive and meaningful social relationships can have many benefits to wellbeing, although this can mean different things to different people.  It can depend on factors such as culture, interaction style, and interests.
 
When we communicate with others, we use non-verbal communication (for example eye contact, facial expression, gesture) as well as verbal communication (words, sentences, and stories) during conversations to convey our own as well as understand others’ thoughts, ideas, and feelings.
