Early Communication - What Local Services Can Offer Support? - Bright Start IslingtonIslington services for children under 5 and their families are called Bright Start. This includes Health Visiting, Stay and Plays, Family Support, childcare and much more. You can find out more about Bright Start, Family Hubs and Start for Life on their website. They run lots of activities across the borough and many have a specific focus on early communication development.
Your Health Visitor is available for advice at any time – not only at the time of the 1 year or 2 year review. Information about the Health Visiting service can be found here. The Bright Start and Family Hubs Speech and Language Therapists
visit lots of the Stay and Play and Library sessions across the borough.
