This web site contains guidelines for the management type 2 diabetes in the UK, published by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence. Guidelines are currently limited to ‘Retinopathy – screening and early management’ and ‘Renal disease – prevention and early management’, but further guidelines are planned. is a community of people with diabetes, family members, friends, supporters and carers, offering their own support and first hand knowledge. The community forum is a very actively used social medium for people with diabetes.
