Dr Norman Johnson
Biography
Dr Norman Johnson is a Consultant Respiratory and General Physician at the Whittington Hospital London N19 5 NF, and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the Royal Free and University College Medical School. He is also a part time adviser to the National Clinical Assessment Authority.
Previously: - Senior Lecturer and Hon Consultant Physician at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine, Middlesex Hospital London W.1
He is the senior consultant in the department of chest medicine at the Whittington Hospital, a recognised specialist in both respiratory and general (internal) medicine.
He was previously clinical director of medicine and director of Research and Development for the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust, and has also been both undergraduate and post graduate sub dean of the medical school.
He is an examiner for the General Medical Council (PLAB).
He is a Council Member of the British Thoracic Society and a Member of the Standards of Care committee
