Dr Rita Das
Biography
Rita Das graduated in Medicine from Edinburgh University in 1997, with a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sociology from University College London. She initially specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and has spent time working with marginalised communities in India and Bangladesh. She completed her postgraduate training in Emergency Medicine in North East London, and was appointed as Consultant at the Whittington in September 2008. Her special interests include Women’s Health, Teaching and Training, and Holistic Medicine. She is committed to challenging inequalities in access to healthcare.
