Dr Bernard Davis
Biography
Bernard Davis qualified from the University of Ghana Medical School in 1986. Having completed general professional training in the UK, he trained in haematology at the Whittington and University College London Hospitals. After four years in clinical and laboratory research at University College London, he joined the consultant staff at the Whittington Hospital in November 2001. His research interests are focused on the contribution of reactive oxygen species to the pathophysiology of iron loading conditions and sickle cell disease.
