We know that coming into a health setting can be stressful and scary, especially when you don’t know want to expect. We want to make sure that you have the best experience with us.
We have developed these pages with staff, patients, and carers to provide accessible support for people with learning disabilities.
We are committed to making sure that patients with a learning disability can access the care they need with their support needs taken into account.
Sometimes visiting a hospital before your treatment can help. While we do not offer specific tours, if you visit any Whittington Health NHS Trust sites, you will be able to familiarise yourselves with the layout and reception areas and ask staff any questions you may have.
