Motor Skills
We provide:
- Assessment and intervention of children and young people with mild motor delay and movement disorders impacting on physical function
- Assessment and intervention of children and young people at schools to address moderate difficulties with physical and movement needs arising from birth, congenital or long-term condition with the focus to promote the development of physical skills, maximize on physical function, independence, where possible limiting secondary complications, enabling participation at home, school and in the community
- Support to schools in the devising and development of Motor Skills Programme
- CPIP: providing the assessment of posture and joint range of movement (according to CPIP assessment schedule) and the assessment of functional skills with advice / recommendations with children with moderate CP
- Children on this pathway are largely seen in mainstream schools
