Urgent Help

Haringey Talking Therapies is not able to provide support for people who are in immediate danger and crisis or immediate risk of serious harm or injury.

Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
  • Someone's life is at risk - for example, they have seriously injured themselves or taken an overdose.

  • You do not feel you can keep yourself or someone else safe.

A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a physical one. You will not be wasting anyone's time.

If you are not in imminent risk but have a mental health crisis please call 111, Option 2, or the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team on 0800 151 0023.

You can call that number to get help or advice in a crisis from trained mental health advisors and clinicians, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Contacting your GP:
You can request an emergency appointment with your GP; they will be able to help you access the right services and ensure you get the right level of support.
