Isabelle Cornet

Isabelle has being working in Midwifery for over 10 years and has worked in Paris, Geneva, and London.
She received her Master of Public Health from Kings College London in 2013 and has since completed further leadership and Midwifery courses in the UK and France.
Isabelle is passionate about developing the wonderful maternity team and ongoing great work and support to women and families at Whittington Health.

Ilana supports teams both within the hospital and with the local boroughs and communities in intrapartum care. She leads our choice and personalisation pathway - supporting women and birthing people who want to explore place of birth choices and in developing complex birth plans.

Gillian is the Community and Outpatient Matron. She manages the Community Midwifery Teams, Birth Centre, Antenatal Clinic, Fetal Medicine Unit and the Antenatal and Newborn Screening Team.

Arinola covers labour ward, obstetrics theatre & recovery and maternity triage. Arinola provides professional and clinical leadership to midwives whilst supporting the delivery of evidence-based individualised care to women, birthing people and their families.
She collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop a service which meets the needs of all our service users.

Chika Okonkwo

Chika is the Maternity Inpatient Matron, overseeing antenatal ward (Murray Ward) and postnatal ward (Cellier Ward). Her role entails collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that women and their newborns receive exceptional care and have a positive experience while staying in the inpatient area.

Jane McKenzie

Jane co-ordinates the education and training for staff in Women’s Health. She runs multidisciplinary teaching, manages newly qualified staff, runs the preceptorship programme, co-ordinates the apprenticeship programmes in the Maternity Unit and has an integral role in multidisciplinary panels for clinical risk and guidelines.

Lorraine supports Students Midwives during their clinical placements. This consists of teaching students in the clinical areas, and supporting the Midwives in their role as Practice supervisors and Practice Assessors.

Heather Jenkins
 
Heather works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and partner agencies to ensure that babies who come into contact with services at Whittington Health NHS Trust are safeguarded and their welfare is promoted.
Heather is passionate about the care of women who face multiple social disadvantage.
Heather qualified as a midwife at Kings College London and has worked at the Whittington Hospital for over 20 years.
