Whittington Health is supporting the #FutureMidwifery campaign to transform perceptions about what it means to be a midwife today.
This compliments our support for the new Nursing Now England campaign.
We have always been at the forefront of innovations in Midwifery including employing the first male midwives in 1973. Thankfully opinions have moved on since this newspaper story was published and we still employ male midwives today.
We have also made a film telling the stories of some of our current midwives which you can view at: www.bit.ly/WHMidwives.
